Raffle Rules: You may enter as much as you like, but you must buy your
tickets from a company member. There are no sales by mail or web. You need
not be present to win. Raffle tickets will be on sale at all last classes, May
27-29. Drawing, June 1.
Drop your spare change in our 'bell bank' before or after class. Look under
your sofa cushions, clean out your car ashtrays, empty that jar of pennies on
your dresser!
We are collecting bottles and cans for our recycling drive. Bring in your
bottles and cans for deposit and we will do the rest!
Donations
 The SMALL FEETS and the Peanut Butter & Jelly Dance
Company are projects of Moving Experience, Inc., a
501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our school,
professional and youth companies are funded primarily
through fees. The cost of community concerts, special
workshops, and scholarships can exceed revenues. In
order to grow and continue our exciting dance
programming for children in these times of
little-money-for-art we need sponsors and contributors:
people like you! Please join in supporting dance for and
by children. Due to the worsening economy, we also have
an increasing number of parents that are asking for
scholarship support. We hope bring some of our group to
the next dance and the Child international conference in
Utah next summer to add our dance to others
from around the world. This kind of outreach is
impossible without help from supporters. We would like
to take every dancer and SMALL FOOT who would like to
go, but we need to make that possible for some children
and dancers. Contributions of any size, $3 to $3000, are
tax deductible and greatly appreciated. Please remember
us when making your charitable gifts this season, we
are, in the words of a parent “small, independent, do
great work and need the money.” If the company you work
for supports non-profit organizations with in-kind
donations, advertising or matching gifts, please let us
know!
Our office has a small “Store." All proceeds fund PB&J programming.
PB&J T shirts - New $10. Special on 25th
anniversary T shirts are $5 (L, XL only)
Book: Dance! With Bill T. Jones by Bill T. Jones,
photos by Susan Kuklin. We have a wonderful book for
sale that I recommend that every dancing child own. This
book is a far cry from the
shy-animal-ballerina-who-gets-a-magic-pair-of-toeshoes-then-loses-them-believe-in-yourself
dance book (Not that that is a bad message, but it
suggests that all dance is ballet and that being in the
big show is all that is valuable about dance). This book
complements what we teach here in our classes.
The Peanut Butter & Jelly professional adult company
is also looking to forge new connections with local
schools. You can help by recommending us to your child’s
principal or cultural arts coordinator or by putting us
in touch with your PTO or community organization.
Advertisers and Sponsors
Advertisers and sponsors will be
listed in programs for performances across the year, posted in our dance space in Brookline,
and linked in our website all year. Please
consider supporting us by advertising or making a
sponsorship donation.
Advertisers must supply camera-ready copy. We can assist
with this. Messages can be typeset by us. Ads may be
transmitted electronically to info@pbjdanceco.org, as pdf or
MS Word files. Alternatively, you
may wish to be listed as a contributing benefactor or to
make an anonymous contribution. Contributions are
tax-deductible. Material must be accompanied by payment.
